Our Management Team

DB Training is headed up by John Baker, Managing Director of our parent company, Dr Byte Computers UK Ltd. John and his brother Mark Baker formed the Company and remain the driving force behind its successful and ongoing development. As brothers, their backgrounds could not be more different. John Baker is by profession an international banker, but not in the traditional sense. Until the summer of 1997, he ran international trading floors for some of the most prestigious Banking names, in the City of London and New York. John spent six years living in New York gaining international experience.

By contrast, Mark Baker, a religious minister running his own Pentecostal Church, also runs his own successful graphics design company. Well versed in the Jewish culture and history, he also organises and leads guided tours of Israel. Mark is highly creative and runs the more "artistic" marketing side of Dr Byte UK Ltd., being responsible for all art work, design and printing. Our customers benefit from his experience and talent. Mark's involvement with the website building side of our business ensures that our customers see their businesses portrayed in a professional manner leading to their own success.

Our training division is managed by Graham Giles. Graham brings a depth and breadth of experience of the vocational training industry into play to ensure that our products and services meet the demands of our clients from both the public and private sectors. Working closely with our learners, Graham ensures that DB Training continually delivers a level of quality and customer satisfaction that has helped our company achieve six prestigious business awards.

Our Customers

Whilst we see ourselves as a provider of commercial training we also deliver training to learners referred to us from other training providers in the South-East of the county. Many of these learners are from a background of long-term unemployment or are re-entering the employment market after career breaks. Our commercial clients use our services to add to their existing vocational or professional vocational skills or have decided to gain industry specific qualifications in order to enter a new career entirely.

Ideally positioned on the western outskirts of Rayleigh, the DB Training Centre is conveniently located on Lubards Farm affording excellent transport links and ample free parking. Rayleigh Station is minutes from our front door and is served by reliable local bus routes. Travelling by car couldn't be easier. Our centre is just a few minutes drive from the A127, A130 and A12 linking all the main towns in the area.
